Now the guy that could have been a great boyfriend is dating another girl. Should I just have taken that chance with the guy who would have been a great boyfriend?!

It doesn’t matter now, does it? I mean, I’d normally say YES, ALWAYS TAKE THE CHANCE. I think it takes balls to tell someone you like them and that they should at least get a chance if they do it. But, unfortunately, no matter what I say wont change that your chance with him was a chance in the past. He has someone now, and dwelling on “what ifs” wont make that change.
